There’s been no time for posting recently. Simply way too much stuff going on in my life. As we prepared for the annual San Diego Comic Book Convention, I was also trying to complete a storyboard. Added to the mix was a quick film shoot on Monday where our talented filmmakers returned to the sound stage to pick up additional stuff for our documentary. It’s been a mad scramble, but I think we got everything done.
We’ve arrived in San Diego getting ready for our panel this evening. Our wonderful New York team will be in attendance along with some very special guests. On a sad note, our dear friend, Scott Shaw! will not be attending the ComicCon this year. Scott is recovering from surgery and although he was determined to make it to San Diego this year, this journey had to be cancelled. Scott is on the mend, and we all want him to get better as soon as possible. So, even though we’ll miss him this year (Scott has never missed a Con since its beginning) we knew it would be prudent that he take it easy the next few weeks. Actually, I thought the 2015 San Diego ComicCon should have been cancelled this year. If Scott Shaw! is not in attendance - is it really a comic Con?
Anyway, I just wanted to post something today. It’s been a while since I’ve had time to post anything at all and I was begining to feel just a little bit guilty. We’ve got a panel this evening and that should be exciting. Of course, on Saturday we’ll be onstage doing QuickDraw. As always, it’ll be hosted by Mark Evanier and will feature the Master Cartoonist, Sergio Aragonés. I’ll be onstage as well, but we’ll have to find another cartoonist quickly to sit in for Scott. Anyway, it’s gonna be fun. More to come.
